All hail, Thou suffering Son of God

Verse 1
All hail thou suffering Son of God,
Who did’st these mysteries ordain,
Communion of thy flesh and blood,
Sure instrument thy grace to gain,
Type of the heavenly marriage-feast,
Pledge of our everlasting rest.

Verse 2
Jesu, thine own with pity see,
Our helpless unbelief remove,
Impower us to remember thee,
Give us the faith that works by love,
The faith which thou hast giv’n increase,
And seal us up in glorious peace.
