Christ, the Lord our God, thou art

Christ, the Lord our God, thou art
With them that trust in thee;
Still thou tak’st thy people’s part
’Gainst every enemy;
Faint our foes, when thou art near,
Before thy church they fly, they fall;
King of kings, thy shout we hear,
And more than conquer all.

Hymnal/Album: Originally titled “The Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.”—[Num.] xxiii. 21.
