Collected, perfected in one

Collected, perfected in one,
Jesus, thy sinless people shew,
And thro’ the wondring world make known
Thy glorious, spotless church below:
O might I on her glories gaze!
Her glories all to me be given,
When God vouchsafes to sound her praise,
And spread her fame thro’ earth and heaven.

Hymnal/Album: Originally titled “At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.”—[Zeph.] iii. 20.
