For thy truth and mercy sake

For thy truth and mercy sake,
To my drooping soul appear,
Me thy faithful witness make
Of the things I see and hear;
Then I shall thy love confess,
Conscious of my Saviour’s mind,
Bold proclaim the general peace
Peace in Christ for all mankind!
