God did the testament enjoin

Verse 1
God did the testament injoin,
Which God confirm’d with his own blood:
The man who did his life resign,
Was proper, true, eternal God,
God indivisible, and One,
Jehovah’s fellow, and his Son.

Verse 2
The nature, both of God and man
In Jesus’ single person meet,
Never to be disjoin’d again;
So strict the union and compleat,
That what of one is said, is true,
If spoken of the other too.
