His mournful days of flesh are o’er

Verse 1
His mournful days of flesh are o’er,
Accomplish’d is his sacrifice,
Who suffered once, he dies no more,
Nor adds to that stupendous price
Which purchas’d for the faithful race
Pardon, and perfect holiness.

Verse 2
The souls whom separated for his
Out of an evil world he takes,
He renders meet for endless bliss,
Partakers of his nature makes,
And crowns with all the joys above
Their patient faith, and humble love.
