Sion, look round with joyful eyes

Sion, look round with joyful eyes,
On all those gathering nations gaze,
Behold, with one consent they rise,
And flock, and flow to thy embrace!
Thy countless sons and daughters see;
They come from far with duteous speed,
Come to be nurs’d, and fed by thee,
With milk sincere, and living bread.

Hymnal/Album: Originally titled “Lift up thine eyes round about, and see; all they gather themselves together, they come to thee, thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.”—[Isa.] lx. 4.
