Verse 1
Spirit of revelation,
Jehovah, Thee we own:
Make by thy inspiration
To us the Father known:
Of Jesus testifying,
His Deity assert,
His blood divine applying
To every longing heart.

Verse 2
With love beyond expression
Bless each expecting soul,
And take intire possession,
And consecrate the whole;
By thy own signet seal us
Thy permanent abode,
With all the graces fill us,
With all the life of God.

Verse 3
The Earnest, and the Witness
Vouchsafe in us to dwell,
And give the blisful meetness
For bliss ineffable;
With heavenly joy transported
We then our course shall run,
By angel-hosts escorted
To the eternal throne.
