Weary of life, with guilt oppressed

Weary of life, with guilt opprest,
Labouring I come to Christ for rest:
Author of faith, my Lord appear
And bid me cease from sin and fear;
My restless diligence increase,
Till bid by Thee I go in peace,
Thine utmost saving grace to know
And all the heaven of love below.
