Whom Jesus for his followers owns

Whom Jesus for his followers owns
He calls, and keeps his little ones:
Others above themselves they prize,
Less than the least in their own eyes,
They never boast their grace, or dare
Their own perfection to declare,
But still their littleness maintain,
Till great in heaven with Christ they reign.
