Lyrics

Verse 1
Standing by a purpose true,
Heeding God’s command,
Honor them, the faithful few!
All hail to Daniel’s band! (Dan. 3:17-18)

Chorus
Dare to be a Daniel,
Dare to stand alone! (Dan. 1:8, Dan. 6:10)
Dare to have a purpose firm!
Dare to make it known.

Verse 2
Many mighty men are lost
Daring not to stand, (Eph. 6:13)
Who for God had been a host
By joining Daniel’s band.

Verse 3
Many giants, great and tall,
Stalking through the land,
Headlong to the earth would fall, (I Sam. 17:49-50)
If met by Daniel’s band.

Verse 4
Hold the Gospel banner high! (Ps. 60:4)
On to vict’ry grand!
Satan and his hosts defy, (Eph. 6:11-12, Jam. 4:7, I Pet. 5:8-9)
And shout for Daniel’s band.
