Just as I Am

Verse 1
Just as I am—with­out one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me, (Matthew 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, Heb. 9:22, I Pet. 1:18-19)
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee— (Matt. 11:28, John 6:37, Rev. 22:17)
O Lamb of God, I come, I come. (Heb. 10:19, John 1:29, John 1:36)

Verse 2
Just as I am—and wait­ing not
To rid my soul of one dark blot, (Isa. 1:18)
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot— (Heb. 9:14, I John 1:7, Rev. 1:5, Rev. 7:14)
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Verse 3
Just as I am—though tossed about
With many a con­flict, ma­ny a doubt, (Eph. 4:14. James 1:6)
Fightings and fears with­in, with­out— (II Cor. 7:5)
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am—poor, wretch­ed, blind;
Sight, rich­es, heal­ing of the mind, (Rev. 3:17-18)
Yea, all I need in Thee to find— (Phil. 4:19, Col. 2:3)

Just as I am—Thou wilt re­ceive, (John 6:37)
Wilt wel­come, par­don, cleanse, re­lieve;
Because Thy pro­mise I be­lieve—

Hath brok­en ev­ery bar­ri­er down; (Eph. 2:13-14, Rom. 8:38-39)
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone—

Just as I am—of that free love
The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove, (Eph. 3:18-19)
