O come, O come, Em­ma­nu­el, (Isa. 7:14, Matt. 1:23)
And ran­som cap­tive Is­ra­el,
That mourns in lone­ly ex­ile here (Ps. 137:1-3)
Until the Son of God ap­pear. (Heb. 9:26)
