We three kings of Or­ient are;
Bearing gifts we tra­verse afar,
Field and fount­ain, moor and mount­ain,

Incense owns a de­ity nigh;
Prayer and prais­ing, voic­es rais­ing,
Worshiping God on high.

Myrrh is mine, its bit­ter per­fume (Matt. 2:11)
Breathes a life of ga­ther­ing gloom; (Mark 15:23, John 19:39-40)
Sorrowing, sigh­ing, bleed­ing, dy­ing, (Isa. 53:3-5)
Sealed in the stone cold tomb. (Matt. 27:66)

Glorious now beh­old Him arise;
King and God and sac­ri­fice;

Sounds through the earth and skies.
