Whene’er our day of Pentecost

Verse 1
Whene’er our day of Pentecost
Is fully come, we surely know
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Our God, is manifest below:
The Son doth in the Father dwell,
The Father in his Son imparts
His Spirit of joy unspeakable,
And lives for ever in our hearts.

Verse 2
Our hearts are then convinc’d indeed
That Christ is with the Father One;
The Spirit that doth from both proceed,
Attests the co-eternal Son;
The Spirit of truth and holiness
Asserts his own divinity:
And then the orthodox confess
One glorious God in Persons Three.
