Caught by the’ Almighty hand

Verse 1
Caught by th’ almighty hand,
That Spirit of the Lord, (Ezek. 37:1)
Carried beyond myself I stand, (Ezek. 3:12)
A witness of his word;
I see the book unseal’d, (Rev. 5:2)
Least of the prophets’ sons,
I mark Ezekiel’s valley fill’d
With visionary bones! (Ezek. 37:2)

Verse 2
Many they are and dry, (Ezek. 37:2)
Spread thro’ the open vale,
Millions of lifeless souls they lie (Ezek. 37:11)
Within the Christian pale:
I pass the churches thro’,
The scatter’d bones I see, (Matt. 23:27)
And Christendom appears in view
An hideous CALVARY.
