More than for ease in mortal pain

More than for ease in mortal pain,
For purity I pray:
Let all thy plagues on me remain,
But take my sins away: (Hosea 14:2, Ps. 51:2, Ps. 51:7-10)
My sins, e’en all my sins remove; (I John 1:7, I John 1:9, Ps. 103:12)
I nothing else desire;
O let me taste thy perfect love, (I John 4:18)
And at thy feet expire.
