Feeblest of all Thy people, I

Feeblest of all thy people, I
Experience thine accomplish’d word,
Out of the deep, like David, cry,
Or sing, and triumph in my Lord;
Exulting in the strength of grace,
His joy, and blessedness I prove,
Or troubled that thou hid’st thy face,
I languish for thy constant love.

Hymnal/Album: Originally titled “He that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David.”—[Zech.] xii. 8.
