A time there is to live alone

A time there is to live alone,
A time t’ appear in open day,
A time to make the vision known
And all the heavenly truth display:
But when to speak, and when forbear,
Who wait the motions of our Lord,
Taught by his Providence we are,
Led by his Spirit, and his word.
