A wonder of grace To angels and men

Verse 1
A wonder of grace To angels and men!
The Ancient of days With mortals is seen,
With sinners converses, His Spirit imparts,
His numberless mercies Makes known to our hearts.

Verse 2
No matter how vile, The sinner has been;
His word and his smile Redeems us from sin,
With kind conversation He comforts the worst,
And shews his salvation To profligates first.
