Agreed, and meeting in thy Name

Verse 1
Agreed, and meeting in thy Name,
Confiding in thy word,
We Two thy promis’d Presence claim;
Jesus, be Thou the Third!

Verse 2
Appear, the true eternal Light,
The wisdom from above,
And each to each our hearts unite,
And mould us into love.

Verse 3
To ask the grace we humbly join
Which Thou art bound to give,
Let both receive the love divine,
Let both Thyself receive.

Verse 4
If now thy time be fully come,
The Spirit now impart,
And give us in our heavenly home
To see thee as Thou art.
