Eternal Lord of earth and skies

Verse 1
Eternal Lord of earth and skies, (Matt. 11:25, Luke 10:21, Acts 17:24)
We wait thy Spirit’s latest call:
Bid all our fallen race arise, (Isa. 45:22)
(Thou who hast purchas’d life for all) (Rom. 5:18, I Tim. 2:6)
Sav’d by that wondrous look divine (Isa. 45:22)
Which makes thy full salvation mine.

Verse 2
Sole self-existent God supreme (Isa. 45:21-22)
Thee, Jesus, let the world confess, (Isa. 45:23, Rom. 14:11, Phil. 2:9-11)
Whose blood did the whole world redeem, (John 3:16, I John 2:2)
And seals the universal peace, (Col. 1:20, Rom. 5:1)
Whose only name, to sinners given, (Acts 4:12)
Snatches from hell, and lifts to heaven. (Col. 1:13)
