Faith is not on all bestowed

Verse 1
Faith is not on all bestow’d:
Thou who hast the grace receiv’d,
Fear to lose the gift of God;
Thou who never hast believ’d,
Hope that precious faith t’ obtain
Bought by Jesus on the tree
Bought for every child of man
Freely offer’d now to Thee.

Verse 2
Drawn by efficacious grace
Toward thine unknown Saviour move,
Taught of God to seek his face,
Wait for his redeeming love:
When Thou dost the Son receive
Made by his great Father known,
Sav’d by sovereign mercy, give
All the praise to God alone.
