God by the ministry of man
Hath oft on man his light bestow’d,
But ah, the teacher’s toil is vain,
Except himself be taught of God:
Yet if the Lord his Guide appear,
A wise instructor of the blind,
He preaches Christ: his voice we hear,
And God and Heaven in Jesus find.
God by the ministry of man
