Great the nuptial mystery

Great the nuptial mystery
Which heaven and earth unites,
Christ allies himself to me,
And God in man delights:
Christ I for my Lord receive,
Who left for me his throne above,
To the heavenly Bridegroom cleave
By humble faith and love.
