Let me, according to Thy word

Let me, according to thy word,
A tender, contrite heart receive, (Ezek. 36:26, Ps. 51:17, Isa. 57:15)
Which bleeds for having griev’d its Lord,
And never can itself forgive,
An heart thy joys and griefs to feel,
An heart, which cannot faithless prove,
An heart, where Christ alone may dwell, (Eph. 3:17)
All praise, all meekness, and all love!
