The kingdom promised and foreshowed

The kingdom promis’d and foreshow’d
By legal types and ancient seers,
The church, the hierarchy of God
Establish’d now on earth appears;
And sinners, sav’d for Jesus sake,
May all into the kingdom press,
Its glory, power, and joy partake,
And seize the crown of righteousness.
