Thee that my sacrifice may

Thee that my sacrifice may please,
Assist me, Lord, to lay aside
The leaven of all wickedness,
All spite, hypocrisy, and pride:
Anger, and doubt, and anxious care
Out of my heart if thou remove,
I’ll lift up holy hands in prayer
With truth, sincerity, and love.
