Thrice welcome word to those who live

Verse 1
Thrice welcome word to those who live
By faith in Him their hearts receive,
With true affection fill’d
Who feel redemption in his blood,
And happy in the peace of God
Injoy their pardon seal’d.

Verse 2
Before I render up my breath,
Stronger than sin, and hell, and death,
Thy love I long to know:
Thy love omnipotent impart,
To strengthen and renew my heart,
And let my spirit go.
