Where have ye the sinner laid?

Where have ye the sinner laid?
In his Maker’s hands no more,
Till the Quickner of the dead
Doth to second life restore:
In corruption’s pit he lies:
Jesus, come, with pity see,
Speak, and bid the soul arise,
Call him forth to live for Thee.
