Who simple innocence approves

Verse 1
Who simple innocence approves,
Jesus the little children loves,
And marks the character
Which fits us for that heavenly place,
Where innocents behold his face,
And bright like Him appear.

Verse 2
Saviour, to us thro’ faith impart
The deep humility of heart
That hangs on Thee alone;
The truth of love’s simplicity,
Which leads us to partake with Thee
An everlasting throne.
