Ye who curiously desire

Verse 1
Ye who curiously desire
The works of Christ to see,
Come; but farther grace require,
And his disciples be:
Him who rais’d us from the dead,
Expect your sinful souls to raise;
Feel the Spirit of our Head,
And live to Jesus praise.

Verse 2
Burst the barriers of the tomb
Thro’ his almighty word:
All mankind to Him may come,
And glorify the Lord:
Ye who sleep in death awake,
While Christ his quickning power exerts,
Seek him for his own dear sake,
And find him in your hearts.
