Ye worms, that wear an earthy crown

Ye Worms, that wear an earthly Crown,
Before the King of Kings bow down, (Ps. 2:10-11, I Tim. 6:15, Rev. 17:14, Rev. 19:16)
Glory to GOD, and Worship give: (Ps. 29:1-2)
Honour is due to GOD alone, (Ps. 29:2, Ex. 20:3)
Fountain of Power your Maker own,
And happy in his Service live.
With Joy the Lord of Hosts proclaim,
Extol the great Jehovah’s Name, (Ps. 29:2, Ps. 68:4, Ps. 145:1)
His Praises let your Lives declare,
His Image be your costly Dress, (Col. 3:10)
Your Beauty be his Holiness, (Ps. 29:2, I Pet. 1:15-16, Isa. 61:10)
His Love your Royal Diadem wear.

His Voice upon the Waters is, (Ps. 29:3, Ezek. 43:2, Rev. 1:15, Rev. 14:2, Rev. 19:6)

Loud as ten thousand Seas it roars; (Ps. 29:3)
Above the Firmament He sits, (Ps. 29:3, Ps. 103:19, Isa. 66:1)
And Earth to the Great King submits, (Ps. 47:2)

And waving Sheets of Lightning shine,
Th’ impetuous Hurricane of Sound (Ps. 18:11-13, Ps. 77:17, Ps. 97:2-4)
Rives the strong Oaks, and shakes the Ground,
For Thunder is the Voice Divine. (Ps. 29:4, Job 37:2-5, Ps. 104:7)

Verse 3
Jehovah’s Voice the Cedars rends, (Ps. 29:5)
And all the Pride of Lebanon bends, (Ps. 29:5)
And strips and tears the scatter’d Trees;
The Hinds affrighted calve, and die, (Ps. 29:6)
While mixt with Flames the Thunders fly (Ps. 29:7)
And rock the howling Wilderness.
Creation hears his Voice, and quakes, (Ps. 29:8, Ps. 114:7, Hab. 3:10)
Sea, Earth, and Hell, and Heaven He shakes, (Heb. 12:26-27, Isa. 13:13, Isa. 64:1, Joel 3:16, Hag. 2:6, Hag. 2:21, Matt. 24:29, Mark 13:25, Luke 21:26)
Firm on his Everlasting Throne; (Ps. 29:10)
But All, who in His Temple praise, (Ps. 29:9)
And love, and thank Him for his Grace,
Shall never, never be cast down.

Arms them with His Omnipotence,
And all their Strength Divine restores. (Ps. 29:11)
